Hej til vores rapport om Danmark!

Our Erasmus language trip started on October 20, 2024, and ended on November 2, 2024. These two weeks were an unforgettable
experience for us three girls and a perfect preparation for our future paths in life.
We received excellent advice and organization from Ms. Vacikova regarding travel options and accommodations. What we liked most
was that we could express and fulfill our wishes regarding transportation and living arrangements. We independently drove from near Dresden to Middelfart in a private car. Our accommodation was very clean and well-furnished, with each of us having our own room, ensuring privacy. The location was also perfect, as our holiday home was situated in a rural village, just about 20 meters from the sea.

We were not disappointed with our social internship partners either. The educators and children welcomed us warmly and introduced us to their culture. We particularly appreciated being able to implement our own projects, such as painting leaves, making marble pictures, creating splatter monsters, and dancing. Our working hours were from 8 AM to 2 PM, allowing us to use the afternoons to explore the area.

On the weekend, we visited the cities of Copenhagen and Aarhus. We were fascinated by these places and were able to see several attractions, such as Amalienborg Palace, the Little Mermaid statue, and Tivoli Gardens. Despite the excitement and nervousness before the trip, we are all happy to have had this experience.

We gained more independence, improved our English and Danish language skills, and built self confidence. We quickly learned Danish through our interactions with the children and educators, and we had no problems communicating. In summary, the stay abroad was formative, unique, and educational. We would recommend this experience to anyone, as we were able to take away and learn so much during this time.
Thank you to the Erasmus+ program!
